Using SmartInspect

SmartInspect facilitates the efficient completion of detailed inspections. From either a map view or a list view, users can quickly view all current inspection requests,complete any assigned inspections, or generate and complete self-assigned inspections.

The form-based inspections and plans are easily navigated, with data captured using simple tap gestures; can be instantly captured from within the application and added to the inspection. Annotations can be added to captured images, allowing users to provide marked up. Any data conflicts (if multiple users are working on the same inspection) when creating or updating an inspection are automatically surfaced for user-based resolution.

If users are also SmartCapture users, additional building information can be added to non-inspection sections (e.g. pre-incident plan sections), enabling users to easily capture information for various uses.

Once complete, inspection reports can be instantly generated and emailed to the appropriate contact, and a history of inspections is automatically synced with the server. The inspection email includes a summary of the inspection, as well as a detailed PDF inspection report. On inspection completion, the next inspection can also be scheduled.
