To Drop a New Building Pin

This procedure details the steps in CityScape Admin for dropping a new building pin.
  1. If necessary, navigate to CityScape Admin
  2. Select SmartCapture SmartCapture
    The List View will be presented.
    Note: By default, the List View appears when the SmartCapture tab is selected.
  3. Select Map View
  4. From the map, use the Zoom Buttons to zoom in on the map
    Tip: If a map cluster is displayed on the map, it can be selected to zoom in on the map. Desktop users can also scroll on a mouse wheel to zoom in and out, while touch device users can use a pinch/expand gesture to zoom.
  5. Right-Click on the desired location
    A green pin will drop on the selected location, and a label will appear.
    Tip: To move the green pin, click and drag it to a new position.
  6. In the Building Name text field, enter a name for the building
  7. If required, modify the address information for the building
  8. Select Create Building
A new building pin has been successfully dropped from the Map View in CityScape Admin.
