To Import Building Information into a Building Information Plan

This procedure details the steps in CityScape Admin for importing building information from a PDF file into a building information plan.
  1. If necessary, navigate to CityScape Admin
  2. Select SmartCapture SmartCapture
    The List View will be presented.
    Note: By default, the List View appears when the SmartCapture tab is selected.
  3. Select Import
  4. Select Choose File
    An Explorer window will appear.
  5. Select the PDF file from which information will be imported
    Each page of the PDF will be presented for selection.
  6. Select a page
  7. Select Edit
  8. Apply any required edits, including cropping the selection window, and rotating the image using the Rotate Image Buttons controls
  9. In the ImageName field, enter an image name
  10. Select one of the following two options to import the image
    • Save Image - the content within the selection window will be saved as an image
    • Save Page - the entire page will be saved as an image
Building information from a PDF file has been successfully imported into a building information plan using CityScape Admin. A confirmation alert will confirm the successful import.
