To Add an Image to an Inspection (Camera)

This procedure details the steps in SmartInspect for using the device camera to add an image to an inspection.
  1. If necessary, select the inspection section from the building information plan menu
  2. In the selected section, tap the Camera Icon
    A menu will appear.
  3. Tap Camera
    The device camera will open.
  4. Tap Capture Photo
    A shutter animation will occur, and the captured image will be presented.
  5. Tap Use Photo
    The camera will close and an alert will appear.
    Tip: To discard the current image and return to the camera to capture a new photo, tap Retake.
  6. In the alert, enter a name for the image
  7. Tap OK
An image captured using the device camera has been successfully added to an inspection.
