This procedure details the steps in SmartInspect's Admin Portal for
generating a recurring inspection
request.Note: To schedule a recurring inspection, users must have the Inspector
Manager role.

Select
Inspection Requests
A list of outstanding inspections will appear.
Note: If a user has only
the Inspector role, they will only see inspections assigned to them and
unassigned inspection requests. Clerks and Inspector Managers will see all
generated inspection requests.

A Recurring Inspection Form window will open.

Using the list selector (top right of the window), choose one of the
following
- Known Inspection - a list sorting occupancies by
last known inspection
- Preplan Update - a list sorting occupancies by
last known preplan update
Tip: The search results of either list can be further filtered by
days elapsed since last inspection/preplan update, and the number of results
returned can be configured between 25-200. The filters can then be applied
by selecting
.

Select the desired building from the selected list
Tip: The search bar above the selected list can be used to filter
the displayed results.

will appear for the selected building.
Tip: To mark all
listed buildings for inspection, select the

A window for configuring the selected inspection request will
appear.

In the Inspection Type selector, select an inspection
type

In the Inspector selector, select an inspector to whom
the inspection request will be assigned

In the Requested Date field, enter a requested completion date for the
inspection request

A recurring inspection request has been successfully
generated in SmartInspect's Admin Portal. A confirmation window will appear.
