To Change a SmartCapture Account Password

This procedure details the steps in SmartCapture for completing an account password change.
  1. If necessary, navigate to the SmartCapture Map
    Note: If not signed in to the application, sign in and the map will open by default. If within a building information plan, tap Map.
  2. Tap Settings
  3. Under Account, tap the displayed Account ID
    The Account ID and password for the signed in account will be displayed.
  4. Under Password, tap Change Password
  5. In the Current Password field, enter the current account password
  6. In the New Password field, enter a new account password
    Note: Passwords must be at least 8 characters and contain three of the following: lowercase letters, uppercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
  7. In the Re-enter Password field, re-enter the new account password
  8. Tap Done
A SmartCapture account password has been successfully changed from within SmartCapture.
