To Create a SmartInspect Account from an Activation Link

These procedures details the steps for creating a SmartInspect account from an activation link.
  1. Open the Email or SMS message containing the activation link
  2. Select the activation URL link
    You will be navigated to an account activation page.
  3. In the Account Name field, enter a name for the account
    Note: The Account Name is used to identify the account for administrative purposes. It is different from the Account ID (which is the Email or phone number to which the activation link was sent).
  4. In the Password field, enter an account password
    Tip: Passwords must be at least 8 characters, and contain three of the following characters: lowercase letter, uppercase letter, numeric digit, or special character.
  5. In the Confirm Password field, enter the password provided in the Password field
  6. Optional - In the Phone Number and Email Address fields, enter appropriate alternate contact information
    Note: Additional contact information is only used if APX needs to contact the user about their SmartInspect account.
  7. Select Activate to complete account activation
A SmartInspect Account has been successfully created using an Activation Link.
